Hi Jochen,

May be in your case, you need to run the batch file with Administrative privileges. Right click on on the batch file and then select Run as Administrator. Please note that I might be wrong as I haven't used a Windows machine for last 3 years :(

Btw Try running the SCHTASKS command in cmd. Batch file is to simplify the task creation process.

Following your guidlines it doesn't work for me! Using win7 64 pro.
Having batchflie to create task:

[vb]
SCHTASKS /Create /RU SYSTEM /SC MINUTE /MO 1 /TN "test_sch_task1" /TR "C:\xampp\php\php-win.exe -f Z:\Labor\htdocs\Mematech\worker.php"
[/vb]

Task executes in win scheduler with returnvalue 1, fail! Allso nothing into log-file.

Excecuting C:\xampp\php\php-win.exe -f Z:\Labor\htdocs\Mematech\worker.php from cmd is working fine.
The same behavier using php,exe.

Any suggestions????

Great job! Though I haven't tried it yet, the sample is very well written, and much clearer than what I could find from Microsoft's website.

Thank you.There is mistake at 8334. Khabarovsk Vtoroy is railway station in Khabarovsk. You can delete it.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately we have already combined the data into our own formatting with some of our own specific database items, so I won't be able to send you corrected data, but I would just double check some of the things I've mentioned above. They seem correct on the source site, Aneki World Cities, but just have gotten mixed up in the process of creating the database. Many thanks for the quick response.

I would not recommend this database. Here are the following errors I've found so far:

- Missing cities in Norway and Malta

- All North Korean cities are mistakenly labeled as being in Norway

- All Malawi cities are mistakenly labeled as being in Madagascar

- All Malaysia cities are mistakenly labeled as being in Malawi

- All Maldives cities are mistakenly labeled as being in Malaysia

- All Mali cities are mistakenly labeled as being in Maldives

- All Malta cities are mistakenly labeled as being in Mali

Looks nice, but I found one error. You have mixed Norway and North Korea :)
